I’m a progressive secular feminist in the Bible Belt. I prefer to shout my opinions at rallies or plaster them onto protest signs, but I’ll occasionally sit down for a few minutes and blog about what’s going on.
I’m an activist for abortion rights, LGBTQ rights and protections, and racial justice among other things. Promoting secular values in a state dominated by religious overreach and hateful rhetoric.
I was in the military for more than 10 years, but I never truly defended my freedom until I joined the fight for reproductive freedom. The day I put on that orange clinic defender vest was the first day I served my community in a tangible way.
This blog is about my activism, and I hope it inspires you to get active too.
